The Prince of Eltheros
Book I

Picture
The land of Eltheros is ruled by a tyrant king who believes himself to be the ancient idol Mardon reincarnated. Prophesies by men long dead or lost still permeate the air that the country will be freed by the king’s son. But who is the king’s son? And where is he?

The prophecy of Lord Kalib tells of two foreigners who will enter the country of Eltheros at the beginning of the prophecy’s fulfillment. The people expect help from outside of their country - not from beyond their world. But one summer afternoon two sisters, a teenager and an elementary schooler, stumble into Eltheros a land far different from than their hometown in Ohio.

Cara, the elder sister, wants to get her little sister home. But when Cara’s given the chance to leave Eltheros, she decides to stay. Is Eltheros far enough for her to hide from the guilt of her past? Will her secret fears still hunt her down?

Now the sisters must travel to the hidden town of Zephra for safety from the wicked king of Eltheros. Here Cara meets two handsome young men: a hunter with the wit of a scholar and an illegitimate son with a seeming desire for virtue. Can either of them give her answers?

Will these two unlikely girls be able to help the people of Eltheros? Will Cara’s past overcome her before she’s able to help fulfill Lord Kalib’s prophecy and meet the Prince of Eltheros?
